When you have a heart, passion and the desire to be with someone, finding yourself alone is very difficult! I was married for 26 years and loved every moment of her. But I came down with 2 chronic illnesses, lost my good job and then she walked out and left me. Depression consumed me, attempted twice to seriously hurt myself, 1 failed and the other didn’t end it, just stitches and broken bones. So I stopped doing that and trying to live better but it’s starting to get me back down. They say laughter is the best medicine, I would say a companion you can love and trust is equally important.

Fuck...I miss my wife and children. Please help me...

I have been searching for this so long after I managed to listen to it on a Breaking Bad short (where Jesse was saying "I have nothing" to Walt) but cannot figure out the song, then I saw a reply of a comment from a compilated video in RUclips about Will and Mac's love story in HBO's The Newsroom identifying the song and a flash of memory came to my mind. Looked upon this and found it! In all seriousness, this song hits. Hits in the goddamn way of remembering the things you made and achieved so far, with all the blood, sweat, tears and time sacrificed to make them happen, even if your life--and all those that bring your life meaning, slowly descends by age and then one day, in the blink of an eye, disappears like nothing ever happened. Damn these 4 am thoughts keep me absurdly alive. Still trying to be alive and happy. Sometimes all you have in your trying times is yourself, all too fragile yet resilient to march forward and keep fighting for life nonetheless.

This song helped me through severe spine surgery 6 years ago. I listen to it every now and again because that sadness was comforting to me
